My interest piqued when I came across this visually appealing site 3 days ago at first by their rather wonderful, eclectic imagery and then by their amazing idea. This website strives to give us all that little flutter of excitement back when something plops on to the doormat, in a hand written envelope, all lumpy packaging and full of mystery (definitely not another bill then!) — and haven't you missed that? Notanotherbill will every month tirelessly source little objet d'arts, things of beauty and collaborate with designers in order to send each subscriber a little 'lift' in the post each month. You can sign up yourself or on behalf of somebody else (what better way to woo somebody?) and start enjoying getting the post again! Simply wonderful...

Today's Most Wanted...With the unexpected but very welcome arrival of what feels like summer (i'm very prepared for it to vanish as quickly as it arrived) many people seem to be in the throws of mild wardrobe panic. While it is warm out there I have seen altogether too many bikinis and too much flesh squeezed in and out of unflattering bare-all shorts and dresses, and it is disturbing to say the least. Invest in a demure but cool summer dress from A.P.C. Madras at ASOS and be sure that you are dressing for the season, looking great and keeping cool in a classic, vintage feel piece. How refreshing!...

Today's Most Wanted... Is a bit of a rant... As an avid shopper of the high street and occasional dabbler in designer goods (namely great accessories or jeans), I like to mix and match the two. It's a formula that just works for me, however i'm finding the lines are increasingly blurred. What were once dependable stores for 'cheap fix' have somehow got into the habit of upping prices on the premise of luxury, better design and limited editions, which in reality often don't live up to their hefty price tags. When a high street store starts retailing a dress at £180 I don't want it to be made of acetate and I definitely don't want to part with that kind of money unless something feels really special. For the same price you can have a great designer piece, support new talent and craftsmanship or simply treat yourself, and why not? With some inside knowledge of the industry I know a designer label isn't always synonymous with quality or even cutting edge design but a lot of it is and we should embrace that point of difference. There's no reason for the high street to start competing, we already have the 'middle ground' covered with Whistles and Reiss thank you very much, so lets start concentrating on great collaborations and dresses at reasonable prices. It's not a snobby thing (i'm a high street lover) but I love it because it is high street, not because it's trying to bridge the designer gap...

Today's Most Wanted... Those keen eyed readers may recognise the to-die-for stud detailing and the lush leopard lining from a previous post. Not long ago I confessed my love for the Lorissa shoe from Sam Edelman (a wonderous peeptoe heel in flattering nude with hardware to make your heart flutter) and to my delight today, I stumbled across her practical little sister. Meet 'Exie', bearing a striking family resemblance, she is perfect for pavement pounding and comes in the three of the most useful colours ever. I'm hanging my nose over the nude, how about you?...
